 | How is this release? I know there are like 99 tracks and they are relatively
short. Are they seamless tracks though? Opinions?

 | dunno. burned a disc and put my cd player on random...seemed like a cool concept, even though i wasn't properly executing
said concept. i might give that a listen tonight.

 | the concept was to change the begin and ending marks for the tracks using your mini-disc player and put it on random
thereby creating a diffrent listening experience everytime.

 | Shuffle and get a new mix everytime. the trcks are very short so the running order becomes quite important. I think
some md players left a little gap between each track though,
wich ruined it for some. There was also a whole thing about
 how the data was treated.

"if we are able to analyse sound correctly, we can apply
psycho-accoustics and so reduce the amount of audio data"
 blah blah

jan maes talking about the minidisc format.

 | also, the point of it being on mini disc is that not only can you make it random, but you can group tracks into
folders. therefore, you can arrange the short tracks in what
ever order you want to create your "own" gescom tracks.

 | What the fuck? You couldn't edit the disc as it was a prerecorded MD not a recordable one...it is just loads of
sound snippets/loops/ideas that you stick on random play,
you don't change the start/finish points of tracks and you
don't group them yourself (at least not on the official
 release)

 | Don't yell at them like that.
They might start to think that any time someone asks a
serious question they might not actually be at liberty to
make things up as they see fit.
