There is something similar about these two tracks as if he just replaced the midi/groove pattern of the former onto the melody of the latter.

yes! thank you. I knew Analord 158b reminded me of another Aphex track. They have a similar feel, but Funny Little Man is probably better.

wait, do you mean the drum/rhythm pattern? funny little man just has a simple beat that is used in tons of songs. the basic beat structure is an extremely common one used in many types of music.
