are wonderful to talk to about music. since this is electronic music messageboard and i've been enjoying quite a bit of rock oriented music lately i checked out couple of rock oriented messageboards and all that was good for was to get me real pissed off..i've read more stupid posts there in couple of weeks than here in couple of years.. |

However, I think Porcupine Tree, Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead are all good fun and I enjoy their music. But they're not even strictly rock, so whatever. I hate genres, they're such a waste of time. |

I don't listen to anthing or dislike anything because it's "cool" or not. I've even loved some pop tunes in the past, like Britney's Toxic (it's a very sexy song.) It's just most rock I hear now days is dire. And boring. Although I will check out those recommended bands (I forgot to mention that I like mars volta) |

Bollocks! Electronic music wouldn't be here if it wasn't for different genres influencing it, of which I reckon 'guitar and singing' bands were probably major... Guitar stuff is often more experimental than half of the electronic stuff talked about on here. |
