It seems people forget that: " Chickens are inquisitive and interesting animals who are thought to be as intelligent as cats, dogs, and even primates. When in their natural surroundings, rather than on factory farms, they form friendships and social hierarchies, recognize one another, care for their young, and enjoy a full life of dust-bathing, making nests, roosting in trees, and more."

"Chickens have more than 30 distinct cries to communicate to one another, including separate alarm calls depending on whether a predator is traveling by land or sea."

The average chicken is more intelligent than my clients. This has been scientifically proven by weighing their brains.

i love chicken, it's good and good for you. but i don't buy food from corporate chains, including kfc.
i think the real solution is not boycotting kfc, but getting the government to subsidize organic and free-range farming so that these alternative farms can actually do competative business, we all eat healthier meat, and the animals aren't farmed in a nasty way.
