voted..thanks for the pointless points, yum, yum....

but like how could not want him to win...

I mean, seeing AFX go up there and collect the award and say
a speech etc...would be priceless...

His very presense would subvert the whole thing...

It would be great if he won, then the following morning the
papers and everyone would say"Aphex Twin? Who are
THEY?"(like when Rae and Christian won a few years
ago). Then, when they get round to listening to him, they would
say "this stuff is the pits!".Also,i'd luv that AFX freek in
the wheelchair to collect the award.... }:>

I also voted "no"....I would not want to see Richard have to
even associate himself with some of the execs and listen to
them all kiss his ass for something 85% of them have never
heard or do not enjoy.
V5 should give him an award.....Atleast we mean our
appreciation for his genius.

i think it would be great. he wouldnt be more commercial
then than he is now, i mean, FAT ASS COMMERCIAL INC records
wouldnt take him on and if they would, he would have given
them the finger.

I think that it would rule if he won...but what would he do
wit the award...im sure he hasnt got another award before (i
maybe wrong) but he would probably use it to prop the window
open, or a toilet room door stop

i awarded him best fried egg of the year award last week, so
he has at least ONE award to his name

A while back, someone mentioned they wanted Richard to get
up there, accept the award, and make a seemingly normal
speech.

Then gradually, the speech turns into gibberish... and he
keeps a straight face, and all the commerical bastards are
standing there confused...

That would be hilarious! So I voted YES.

Richard would pull out a little piece of paper with the list
of people to say thanks. That is so degrading, it would be
laughable.

i don't know, i know hes fucking good why should he win. his

these awards...so i voted no. i know he's good...he doesn't
need this award

I vote yes, just because it would be an absolute trip to see
him accepting an award seen by so many, and even more
interesting to listen to his exceptance speech.
