Cat Behavior

I just got back from 11 days in Europe and my cat is acting
strange...

My neighbor has been caring for Rocky while I was gone but I
get the sense that he possibly thought that I had ditched
him and has been meowing constantly and following me
everywhere as a result.

I have been chilling with Rocky since he was about 1 year
old (I got him at the SPCA) and we always get on very well.
I hope it is just a case of him being happy to see me and
that he will eventually chill out because he will not shut
the fuck up!

Have any cat caretakers witnessed similar behaviour in their
kitties?

PS: Rocky is a female, but I always refer to her as a he.
Don't ask why.

Quite normal, it'll take a few days for things to sink in
again.
My dear friend einstein (a siamese) decided to run away and
look for me when i went away for a few weeks. Never saw him
again, i wonder if he went all the way to barcelona?

my cats always give me an ear-full when i've been gone a
long time. i think they are scolding me and/or telling me
about stuff that happened while i was away. or maybe, they
just want to make up for all the attention they missed in my
absence!

Well thats reassuring. I'm sorry to hear about Einstein. I
hope someone found him and took good care of him.
