burning software usually writes the exact data in the wav
file to the cd. i guess it's possible that some burning
software normalizes or does something else to the audio
before burning... which burning software did you use?

i'm going to assume that you are playing the cd through your
computer speakers, the same ones you're playing the .wav
through. is it possible that you have your soundcard mixer
set up to eq your cd audio differently than your wave audio?
or perhaps the volume slider for your cd audio is just up
higher than your wave volume?

hrm.

o right i forgot the audio cd in computer test, probably
that will sound the same as the wavs on it, but now my
computer wont play the cd
i listened to the burnt cd on my stereo, the same stereo my
computer's connected to
i burnt with nero, which i shouldnt, but i hadnt set it to
normalize
the volumes of my soundcard are way up and the monitor
thingies go into the red when playing
it isnt so bad the cd has more volume only that my computer
doesnt
