ubu

Absolutely wonderful archive of classic sound art,
electronic music and experimentation, I can't believe that
I've never noticed it before...Ubuweb has some truly
essential pieces of sound history available for free. Guy
Debord's spectactular Situationisten record set, Joseph
Beuys's sound art pieces (including his, uh, punk protest
record about Ronald Reagan), various Fluxus sound
anthologies, the entire transcribed archive of Aspen
magazine...Go now!

Does anyone remember the production company logo that played
after some sitcoms? It showed a black labradour retriever
and a voiceover that went "Sit ubu sit. Good dog".

I loved that

i think most of these short movies would suit any VJ...i'm a
sucker to analogue grainy video.
