im listening to his analog worms attack album after quite a
while today and im loving it..so many awesome songs, the
beats are wicked, this is a really brilliant album imo..but
it sort of only got attention when those levi's commercials
were hyped.. he's way better than daft pank for instance :)

Ah, one of my favourites. A lot of it is kind of grimy,
minimal instrumental hip hop, but yeah there's a weird sort
of squelchy electro vibe lurking around the corners.

Perplexingly, this album came with a very small inner cd
hole (as in, it wouldn't fit on the raised bit in most cd
players) so i had to use a tiny ickle nail file to get it to
play. Worth it though.

all the good cds should have that, so they're easily
recognisable.

Or maybe all the bad cds could have them instead, so people
with good ears can be lazy and have more fun and shit.

I think daft punk is much better than mr oizo. They both
have that simple yet fun sound to them, yet daft punks
productions are much better. Although Mr Oizo kind of makes
music that sounds intentionally underproduced.

Flat beat is probly one of the funnest dance songs ever
produced, but the rest of his stuff is kind of in distant
third compared to most daft punk.

flab beat is nice but there are quite a few songs that i
prefer to that one..heavy stuff :)

you shouldnt compare mr oizo to daft punk, dp is for
dancefloors whereas mr oizo is closer to idm, flat beat
aside.

Effects thirty fourrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

It's sort of electronic hip hop (more like normal hip hop
than say, Prefuse 73, though). I really like analog worms
attack. Flat beat gets on my nerves thanks to it being
horrendously over-played, but I love the rest of the album.
