i'm in love with this album at the minute. CD2 is great.
really really great.why are there two tracks called sick
porter though?

I think the first one is "Sick porter" and the second one
"Sick Porter".. Don't have my vinyl here so can't check the
tracklisting. Not sure if it's the same on the CD version.

"Organic Tomato Yoghurt" has some nice acidy bits and an
evil twist - a track that I've always wanted to play out but
never have.

I haven't listened to the album is some time, but I remember
that I love the track "Gob Bots." A record of Mike's early
work with crazy melodies and spaztic beats.

This is a unique album, totally awesome except for a few
tracks. I likes it.

I was expecting more Tango n vectif goodness, but no, it's
dissappointingly bloated. Could've been a good single CD, or
a very good EP. But since when has Mike P been possessed of
Quality Control. Witness the 500 identical albums released
daily on the Mu label.

breaks recently. i expect better.

yes i agree: a 2 cd album was definately not needed, 1 cd
could've made it a classical beauty..

It is indeed very bloated. I got this, well actually the
prerelease vinyl, along with Tango and it seemed to be
of a lesser quality. It seem that ever Mike P album get's
worse and worse. Well apart from Makesaracket and Das Ist
Ein Groovy beat, which is perhaps some of the worst
electronic albums to date.

When I hunted down the titles for the tracks to tag my rip
of it, I was amazed how bad/stupid the names were. And it
lessened my thoughts about it even more.

With that said, it is miles better than any of the
steaming piles of shit he writes µ-ziq on after that.

Bilious Paths was really good.

I bought both Makesaracket and Das Ist Ein Groovy beat and
they both made me feel like I'd lost all ability to
recognise good music. Surely I thought, surely these can't
be as bad as I imagine... but they are wank, oh rank wank,
joyless, aimless wankery. I think he either got very lucky
with some early tracks, or that other guy helped out more
than just a bit.

I can moan and be bitter about it because I actually spent
money on them.

I only have Das Ist, but I could have Makesaracket if I
hadn't listened to it first. The same goes with Shaped to
Make Your Life Easier too. Damn that's bad.

I think bluff limbo is a great album, I prefer cd2 too, but
one is great also

as for those albums vlari and dog talk about... I never
heard any paradinas under a name that was not uziq, so I
cant say
