i was hoping that mixers would totally chop and crash the melody, that's why it was made like 1st half quite normal and the other just purely random.

I must say, considering the curse this project has suffered, the endresult turned out pretty damn good.
#1 Excellent fuckery with the material and you solved the bassproblem quite well :) I think it's best to listen to the first half of this track, put another track on, and return to the second part cause it feels like it's two takes of the same song. I think your's is the best.
#2 A charming take on the situation. I like how you put the bass and synthparts separately. I think you succeded in making this fit the initial task in making this a jazz trio. Excellent work, and not far from i_x_ten's

i've had about 2 or 3 ideas now about how to put together both mixes. but it's too late now to asign for mixing, shit. if i get lucky to be in the project again i will definitely sign for mix
