I think snares has a good ear for samples. Every one of his
fits the mood really well

blossom'

"Put a couple of pillows in bed she'll think we're asleep"

The voice in Second Scepe is also used to great effect,

"Everything around me seemed to be in slow motion" in Love
in Vein by Skinny Puppy.

also, all those voice samples and scary screams in
Ministry's Corrosion. brilliant. i can't say i'm a big
Ministry fan, but this track is killer.

oh, and i LOVE that voice processed sample in Gridlock's
Caloc, in the middle of the track.

pretty much any song by skinny puppy with samples is going
to have fantastic use of samples. same with ministry. two
bands that mastered that art.

vsnares has some great samples going on in the doll doll
doll and find candace lps.

Actually I think I know my favourite... Mutual Slump by dj
shadow.

Freaky sedated woman speaking about Darth Vader.

On that note, The DJ Shadow Remix of Painkiller by Depeche
Mode has a nice use of a sample that goes "Ah, my stereoman
is my...is my number one high".

I read somewhere it was from a record where a girl talks
about LSD an stuff, also sampled on Acid Again by Meat Meat
Manifesto

My favourite sampling is on White Blur 2 from SAWII, the
little laughter that is used. And another good one is: Watch
your bassbins, I'm telling ya, from Infiltrate 202 by Alten
8/an Amen Andrews track I can't remember.

found it:

"there are at least 3 people from another planet living on
earth today. these people are living in earth physical
bodies. these people are highly specialized adepts who's job
it is to protect mankind from any interference from outer
space and any invasion from outer space."

sounds like michael caine, anyone recognise it?

i've just been drinking the morning coffee and my winamp
shuffled up BOC "aquarius" and i thought that the track
WOULDN'T be the same without those children voices : "yeah,
that's right" :) heh

well, WOULD IT ?

it's like Plaid "shackbu" live version - without those
scratches in the end it's just lame
