anyone else likes this stuff? which is your favourite
album?
my fav is 'gavin bryars the last days' i'd say, and some of
those kraftwerk covers are real nice aswell and i haven't
heard the new one yet, but im looking forward to it!

Played just after them at a festival once.. Started my set
with "Tetra-Sync" which I thought was fitting. Wickedly good
live but I probably couldn't get that into their stuff on
record.

i heard only Possessed, with Kraftwerk remakes. Those which
are not remakes, featured on that album, are all good.
Especially 'Want Me'.

I also heard Lume Lume album, part of a very long soundtrack
to some exhibition. Alexander Balanescu was incorporated in
that project.

Balanescu isn't much of a "trademark name" for me - I don't
buy a cd because they're playing on it, but because of the
composer who's music they're playing.

that said, they have won respect with me because they've
played on a few Kate Bush albums.

and their recording of Michael Nymans "String Quartets" is
the best version I've heard.

that is mostly electronic album. a guy from To Rococo Rot
worked there also. One song resembles Kraftwerk Autobahn a
lot, others vary from ambient to more rhythmic, groovy
tracks.
