I'll be going there in a couple of weeks. Any tips?
Anyone lives there and wants to give me a tour?

I lived in N.O. for a bit so I can help you out, although I'm neither a hot girl or living there currently..... It's a lot of fun, there, and the bars don't close, so that's really cool :D but try not to stray out of the downtown area..... most of New Orleans is a ghetto, and you WILL be shot and left for dead, because it's not tourist season...... Marti Gras is over, there :/ so try and stay in/near the French quarter..... the arcitecture is beautiful, there.... so try and go out and see the buildings, and if you're into that sort of thing, try and go see St. James cemetery.... absolutely stunning..... also try and catch at least 1 haunted house or voodoo tour..... New Orleans has such a rich history of the occult, that's it's a "can't miss" thing to go on at least one of them..... they're relatively inexpensive.... also like Virgoshover had said, the food is EXCELLENT, so bring a bib, and munch down on at least 1 crawdad bake.... if you have any other questions, I'll check this back, and don't hesitate to ask :D
