.. they made either a few tracks or a whole album together,
which will come out on the 21st of march.

bleep is offering an mp3 to it's mailinglist subscribers.

anyone else hear it yet?

I'm not that impressed. it's more of the same with more
'regular' electronics added, which I think don't work that
well with The Books' sound.

no, Prefuse i will wait for.

i said i'd wait for Autechre and didn't, but Prefuse i'm
really gonna try. the guy even expressed anger (disguised as
sarcasm) on his website that people have been downloading
it.

I think a new Books album is another of those things that I
won't download beforehand and just wait till I have the cd,
but thank you very much, Fabbienz0r.

this waiting stuff is kind of pleasant.

I can wait. I have the meditative patience of a sexbot
washing its hook in the sink.

it makes the unending passage of time almost bearable.

I copy/pasted that out of someones livejournal.

Adam F did an album a couple of years ago on Def Jam called
Kaos where he produced all the tracks and Redman etc rapped
over them. He's also remixed a number of Def Jam artists.

End of brain.

not that impressed either, but it wasn't as bad as i
expected.
i must admit the books side of it saves it from being
totally boring.
A bit repetitive in a disguised way too.

keep in mind that Prefuse albums work best when listened to
in one shot. it's obvious the track is meant to be heard in
context with what's before and after it.

don't apologize, i'm just saying that you might enjoy it
more if you hear it in context. :)
