Here's an interesting site that proclaims the Nick Berg decapitation video is a fake, and on top of that, that there is evidence the video was shot in none other than Abu Ghraib. Thought some people on the board might find it interesting. |

i wouldn't call anything. i didn't watch the video because i didn't want his screams to haunt me. pictures/video doesn't really phase me, it's the screaming that gets locked in my head :( |

this certainly is a case of welcome to last week (or last year or whatever) there was a good dissection of the arguments for and against this on kuro5hin.org . "50 reasons why the nick berg video could be fake" or something. It's quite possible that it was fake. The kuro5hin article was very convincing anyways -- and i was watching the video (very squeamish stuff) while reading and taking the arguments into account. In any event, it came at a very handy time for the american administration, and i think it's quite possible that they had this execution performed themselves, and then the militants caught onto the idea. |
