Well you lot forced me to listen to this. This is the first track I have, I would buy the album on this track alone. It is absolutely amazing. What the fuck are you all on about saying it's shit. Unless it goes rapidly downhill from here I will have reached the point where I will stop listening to anything any of you have to say on the subject of music. The initial opening to the track seemed to affirm fears instilled by the members of this board...then 3 minuted upwards the track twists, evolves, evokes....it's absolutely amazing. |

Seriously mate, there aren't enough positive adjectives to describe what I am hearing...it is absolutely amazing. Regardless of what anyone has said/is saying this is definite progression. It is the draft style evolved to perfection. As soon as they are accepting preorders I am getting the CD and vinyl (both x2)...fuck Pro Radii is perfection personified (without the person)...Analord is lush, lovely etc...this is me though. I am listening to Pro Radii at the moment and I am this music. Oh god...it's like an orgasm mixed with the best high of my life... |

YES!!! =) As I've said a lot in the past two months I really think they have been trying hard to make a really new, unique sound since tri repetae, and some of their experiments were bumpy.. I thought draft was technically much better crafted than confield. Anyway so the way I was seeing things they were still experimenting a lot, and this one sounds like shit is coming together. everything I just said was stupid, but really, this is fucking awesome =) I'm buying it straight from warp (they deserve my money) so I'll have to wait a little longer for it to arrive... but I can't wait! I hope they do some nice pre-order stuff. about the avatar.. thanks guys, it's my first experiment at writing some code to generated an animated gif. It's not advanced at all, I'll make something better soon. |

Sublimit could possibly be my favourite autechre track of all time. The hardest part now is going to be not listening to it again until it is officially released...the MP3's aren't the best quality and I want this experience all over again in quality audio. Do I regret listening to it now? No. It was breaking my fragile heart looking at the negativity and apathy surrounding this release. I had to listen to it. I can only beleive that all the previous ae listeners have fake versions because the one I have just spent an hour listening to with elusive MUST be the one they release. On a first listen, if I had to score it out of 10, I would give it 9.75 and the deduction of 0.25 is only because there is a chance they can once again top their own benchmark. Roll on April... |

The track times were exactly what xceque wrote for his promo. Plus upon listening I am 99.9% certain these are Autechre tracks. If not then Ae's crown has been stolen...but I really can't see it being anyone other than them. |

I drastically like Lcc too, but it's the only track I'm allowing myself to listen to before I buy the record. It sounds rather Chiastic to my ears. On a side note, I thought the dramatic synths at the end of Lcc bear a lot of resemblence to a certain bit of the second part of xltronic autechre dj set at around 20 minutes. It's a very ambient bit. Anyone agree? |
