if you want something that's somewhere near reliable, you'll

i know this one: narod . ru - it sucks so much that there
ain't enough words to explain. The ad which it puts on html
pages is easily removable - <noframes><script> after
your closing </html> tag does its job well. Anyway, it's
russian so won't be helpful.

i used it but it was so slow that i payed a little and moved
to another (almost) free hosting - payed 27 UAH (~$5) only
once and got some space.
But i found out that the muther fuckers remove meta tags
because they can. Drives me mad.

Spymac is supposed to be decent but i couldn't get it
working at all, there doesn't seem to be an upload function
for anything other than small-ish photos once you've
registered. I believe the polish grandmaster swears by it
though. My only advice would be not to use yahoo briefcase.
