Dick Bartleby vs. Television television column in the Prigg Post on Sunday "Why oh why can't the producers of "Oh That JAroen" let the show die with at least some form of humility? Since the beginning of the third season about two years ago, it already was painfully obvious that the writers and producers must be suffering from severe Loss of Brain - while season 2 was a rehashing of the first season, it at least removed the tawdry character Skyfarmer and introduced the semi-popular character with the unlikely name of Phobiazero, which was the cigarette to the show's breath of fresh air. Now the show has become the vomit to it's own breath of fresh air. It's totally devoid of new ideas, I even expect the writers to take two scripts from season 1 and splice them together. It really is time for this show to be removed from the public's already fouled up consciousness. This reviewer for one would like to stop shouting, in utter despair, "Oh god, not THAT JAroen!" when this diarrheic turd of a show runs down our tv-screens." |
