comes out of retirement (this was quick)..

Sinead announces return to music
thanks to kai chai

Sinead O'Connor has announced that she is returning to her
music career.

In an exclusive interview with Hot Press published today,
O'Connor, who retired two years ago, said that she is
signing a management and record deal with Sanctuary
Records.

Hot Press says that O'Connor is working on three records
concurrently, though no decision has been made on the
projects' sequencing.

"I want to at least aim my records at a more spiritualised
market," O'Connor told Hot Press. "Not religious records
strictly speaking, but in the spirit of roots/gospel/chant."

appearntly one of these is going to be reggae (!?) album,
sly and robbie might produce!?

that song is awful. which made it really hard, for me at
least, to appreciate anything she did ever after.

unfortunatelly the rest of her songs don't match that one
(for my taste that is)..

i loved her singing for 100th window as well!

I didn't much care for music when it came out, but I did
dislike it at the time.

now I really dislike it. such a terribly whiny song.

"Nothing Compares 2U" is great if you're drunk as fuck and
blubbering self-pityingly at 4am.

Not so much in any other circumstances though.

you know, if i didn't know you i'd think you quoted
pitchfork there.

as for album coming out months ago - as you can see i
started this thread about a year ago, but then completly
forgot about it, and i was a bit surprised i haven't seen,
read or heard it be mentioned..
