So yeah. I spent ages searching the net for artists called
Clint before deciding upon it. And it was free. So for the
past year or so I've been living in my lovely happy world
where my music is under the Clint name.

Now I find this fucker 'KLINT' on the sale rack in Virgin
Megastores. How was I supposed to know about that. It was
released in 2002 so okay, bad research... Of course I had to
get it in order to be able to tell everyone how crap he
is... £2.99 for his 15 track CD. Obviously I am slightly
biased, but it really sounds lame right now. Cheesy
easy-listening electronic lounge music.

So what do you reckon, should I forsake the Clint dynasty?
Klint
Clint

Klint did that really nice track Diamond for the Snatch
soundtrack. I wouldn't be against hearing more of his stuff.

It's easy to hate music that you feel has cheated you in
some way...

then again it's easy to hate cheesy easy-listening
electronic lounge music.

personaly the name clint always conjurs up images of the
wild west due to clint eastwood, but I'd say go with what
makes you happy. :)

:D Thankyou. But its a bitch when you don't see it spelt
out. Like on Pomme's show, that could have been West
London's own Klint providing the mesmerising and magical
sounds! Hmm I think maybe I might extend it a little, 'Clint
******'

*a cool word

one is spelled with a c, the other with a k.

and I don't think you released anything yet, did you?

I don't see the big problem.

Haha well yes that's where it orginated from, in a moment of
silliness :)

Dann - I would love to but I feel a bit of a hypocrite 3
years late :(

hahah, I was actually going to tell him to keep the idea of
his name but turn it into something funny along the lines of
that, such as Clit Yeast-wood or something. :D

No not yet save a couple of mp3s on mp3.com.au but I was
just about to put up a load of new songs onto the web. Now I
wonder if I should change slightly before doing so, don't
think I can be arsed really.

"Klint... proof that west London's dance massive aren't just
broken beats and nu-jazz."

Not my words, the words of The FACE magazine. Actually the
list of critics on the label gives you an impression of the
music (DJ, Dazed & Confused, 7, the Face)

ooh! a load of songs on the internet! you hit the BIG
TIME!!

:P

no, what I'm trying to say is don't worry about it unless
you seriously start using the name, "seriously" as in:
putting out a physical record or you get a lot of attention.

I have delusions of grandeur, so what??

Yeah I know, I'm not too bothered, it just pissed me off
after ages of trying to find a name that was somewhat
unique... bad idea picking one syllable I guess :)
