Potential Leak Authors

With out this getting too out of hand here, if indeed leak
v1 (69min) and/or leak v2 (63min) are 'fake,' who might be
the artist(s) responsible? What artists would be capable of
such a feat? Please provide proof with your suggestion.

I'll start:

3tronic - Mirror

***ADDENDUM:

lets keep this to potential artists as suggested above, not
to arguments about which "leak" is real (or not). If your 3
yr old cousin could do either version, who are they, please
provide examples of their work, and please use good sense.

meaning, I technically don't want to see links to your 3 yr
old cousins music because you are a sarcastic slag. well
not you, but whomever.

something like this.

i dont hear his sound, but i hear something that reminds me
of devine - i think its the chunky-ness of the music,
lpacial section, imo sounds very richard devineish

the leak is authentic man, you guys need to get over this.

someone around here has a promo cd of untilted. that is
proof right there. if there are promo cd's out right now
then in all likelyhood people are copying the data and
spreading it using the internet. its not that difficult to
grasp!

hey i think its real, i am just telling you that it sounds
like richard devine - glotch wants to know who would be
capable - i not only think richard could pull it off, i
think he is skilled enough to produce something like
untilted. but ive listened to it and KNOW its autechre....

offline cygnus from nowhere and everyplace on 2005-02-15 23:20 [#01500667]

nobody could "pull it off" i dont think. some of those beats
are really strictly autechre. can't even imagine anyone else
doing them.

offline mrgypsum on 2005-02-15 23:31 [#01500673]

i like autechre just as much as the next person, but i dont
like them because of their skill level, i like them because
they can make some great tunes - but there are other artists
who have created on the same level as them imo - the first
time i listened to untiled i knew it was autechre, in the
monster 600+ thread i gave a rundown. but that being said -
having not heard the official release, there are artists out
there producing music today that are capable of making great
music.

Well, I think Devine is capable, however he wouldnt get
anything out of this considering its actually better at
times then some of his official stuff.
He's got a brand name he needs to promote!

In any case, might I suggest the following as "capables:"

Syndrone
Der Zyklus

(however, if it is someone else I think it might be from a
lesser know)

Yeah, in tempo, rhythm and some texture-wise, it has gone in
devine's direction but in improved one.
Fermium is nice but a little bit too mbv-like cichli suite.

more version2-ish stuffs would be yummy.
could you name a couple of strong tracks by them?

this could be a collaboration between several warp artists,
like Chris Clark, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin and maybe some
others worked together on some ae-like music to be
"leaked"..
