Shocking. Snooker player Jimmy White has changed his name
to James Brown, by Deedpoll so it's legally binding, on the
behest of his new sponsor, makers of H P (Brown) Sauce. What
a fucking cretinous piece of shit.

it's not legally binding because he's only changed his name,
and not all his financial & other records

He's threatening to sue the BBC because they won't call him
Brown. However, if the BBC did call him Brown they would be
breaking their rules on sponsorship, so can't.

The snooker authorities won't call him Brown either because
he entered the tournament as White and all their publicity
and promo materials have him named as White.

I used to think he was pretty cool. But then I guess he's
always been like this selling his name to a computer snooker
game in the early 90s...

"I used to think he was pretty cool."

*pictures netlon tearing down the jimmy white posters off
his bedroom wall, smashing his jimmy white mugs and snapping
his autographed pool cue*

O'Sullivan beat Dott yesterday, didn't he? God, i hope so.
last time i saw it was 5-3 to O'Sullivan. I can't stand the
Dottman. what a tragic looking figure.

6-3. Dott also has a tragically timbred voice - very soft
and high. Ding dismantled Doherty! Got a 141 and was on for
a 147 if he hadn't had a Kick! BBCi is awesome! Live and
interrupted coverage of all the matches! Hail the BBC !
