This is intense. Really grabbed me more than all the other
videos on the warpvision dvd. The music had a lot to do with
it, but the visuals work well. Subtlety twisted and sick,
its a kind of deformed relationship being portrayed in
reality and this sort of made up dream. This is the shit
that would nail #1 on TRL for months if people didn't suck.

Are you inferring that I'm boosting my stats? Believe me, I
dread the 10,000 mark. But it seems to have a gravitational
force. I can't. Be. Stopped.

haha its a shit MTV show called Total Request Live.
Basically 13 year old girls call up and vote on what video
is the 'flavor of the week' and thats what they play all the
time until next week when some new untalented shit pops up.

I bought "muddlin gear" last week, solely based on the
Lidell video's on warpvision.

I have yet to give it a listen.

i think it is appropriate, as in every lidell post, to
mention he is good live.

the one for this video? or the other video?

I heard Muddlin Gear (kinda) on bleep, I wasn't impressed...
Daddy's Car is the only track I like. Hmmm.

the what of the who now?

he has released one album on Warp, on which you can find the
track "daddy's car".

the other video, "the city", will be one of the tracks
featured on the new and upcoming album.

I don't think the video for this is too great...

It would have looked nice on film. And the glamourous woman
looks quite average most of the time. But the song kicks
arrrrs

daddy's car is quite different to other songs on muddlin
gear, but some of those other songs are awesome as well, and
the whole album works perfectly!

well, shes not 'amazing' but shes attractive. But its hard
to be "hot" when the director gives you 2 scenes which
consist of looking depressed and angry, and the the other
being the opposite with tons of poorly applied makeup.

qrter- correct, so I take it you liked 'daddys car' enough
to buy the cd.

Muddlin gear took me quite a long time to get used to but
it's a grand ol' album, rewards a lot of listening. Most of
it sounds bugger all like "daddy's car" or "the city"
though. His re-working of miles davis' "in a silent way" on
the album is really quite astoundingly good.
