okay, well he's gotten a few brief mentions here and there,
but i'm thinkin' he'll need a thread where i can rave about
him as i get to hear more and more of his catalogue.

Speak No More About the Leaves... so far that's what i want to tell you
about him, cause that's what i've heard... Uzim mentioned
the song Airria (Hanging Gardens) in another thread, and i'm
gonna have to agree with him on its awesomeness... this dude
is a minimalist at heart, yet, he still possesses something
very lyrical, perhaps even romantic... it makes for a very
unsettling listen... pared down vocals, minimal piano, and
sickly tones hovering about... so so nice... please give it
a chance if you think it might be up your alley.

oo, i was just about to put in an order at staalplaat for
the usual stuff but was looking for one more cd... something
new altogether as i'm not ordering from there in a while and
that's one of the only places i know with so much stuff.
anyway -- they just happen to have this cd - with sound
samples too! i keep listening to the track 2 sample. exactly
the kind of thing i was hoping i'd find, quite unique. i'll
think i'll go for this.

supers, thanks for the tip - perfect timing

brump, since that other thread about stuff we've been
digging lately is kickin' about... this is another honest
answer to that question.

hmm... i honestly don't remember it being that quiet...
either i'm imagining things or you need to turn up your
volume... :)

i think you will probably like this

it's quite interesting infact, that first song is very very
minimalistic though, and i think i got the wrong album-four
possible landscapes, but i couldn't find another one for now
:)
will look further tho!!

Speak No More About The Leaves is good, though i think of it
more like a sort of EP/single than a real "album"... nothing
to do with the length or number of tracks of course, but
even if the music is good, interesting and original, the
album lacks diversity/ideas/other tracks/something to be a
really consistent album. if you see what i mean.
