i would just like to say something about sex and the city and i know i will get flamed for this, but it really is sarah jessica parker's character that ruins it completely. i think the other girls are at least funny, but carrie bradshaw is just retarded and annoying. they sure do like to get filled out. |

i disagree... i think there are others who are more shallow... they all have their moments, but on the whole the attitudes that they perpetuate end up biting them in the ass (in the form of other people who think the same way)... that said i think this thread is really really lame... why are we picking on a picture of a perfectly normal looking, slightly older woman? i'll admit, the idea of a "man faced titstand" is pretty hilarious, but if this is what one looks like, then i am thinking most xlters will be marrying something much worse when they grow up... |

wow, i had typed out this whole thing about how carrie is so shallow...then i realized that i'm arguing sex and the city! but anyways, i'm 2/3 through the second season, and the character is definitely getting more developed. what i like the most about the show is the quirks of the other characters, especially miranda, though. what i don't like about the show is really the fake new york city-ness of it. if you know what i mean..never go to work, go to art gallery parties all day... |
