Why dont you open up some more threads for discussion and
not post in them! Its a great idea. All the cool kids are
doing it.

Do me a favor

i think the word you're looking for is 'favour'. I can
probably manage that though, any requests? It wasn't
immediately apparent that these threads would appear here..
my mishtake.

Seeing as it is though, does anyone actually own this? Or
even mp3s of it?

old boc tunes are impossible to find...it should well known

all the rare tracks available are on slsk....

Haven't you heard? The Mira Calix Sandsings, Boom Bip
Last Walk Around Mirror Lake, a Meat Beat Manifesto I
can't remember the name of and the upcoming Beck remix is
all that kids are listening to these days. Can't remember
any more, sorry.

They actually manage to make mira calix sound good on the
sandsings remix, which is quite an achievement.

the only things i want from boc are the reissues of the old
works and the music used for the commercial spot of telecom
italia
°_°
cunningham took only few seconds from a bigger tune they
made hehe

i would die happy with those

hmmm, well i want the new album. There have also been
rumours that they were thinking about releasing some of the
back catalougue. That is at best a sketchy rumour at best.

i just yesterday downloaded that advert by mistake - with no

really, it seems

Those rumors came out after geogaddi, when in an interview
they said that they made 90+ songs in the session that
spawned geogaddi, and a follow up album with additional
material from that session was prolly soon to come.

i bet you have "a few old tunes" by boc....available on the
net
unfortunately, those tracks are not from the old work (acid
memories, hooper bay...etc.)

offline adam from londonidium (United Kingdom) on 2005-02-10 16:25 [#01494717]

yeah, i have those 'few old tunes' mp3's, vols 1+2, though
I've heard mixed reports as to whether they are actually BoC
or not. Most of them sounds to much like them not to be,
imo, but if anyone knows otherwise..

Infact, checking now, I have some 202 mp3's of BoC.. Many
doubles, but at least 50 of those belong to the 'few old
tunes' (anyone got tracklists for those?), another 5
attributed to 'demo tape' a few total mysterys. None match
the elusive older LP listings on discogs. :(

The Mira Calix and Boom Bip mixes are quite good. There are
also mixes of Michael Fakesch, and Bubbah's Tum (see
here)that I've yet to hear. And there are also
amusing-but-mad-expensive MASK mixes (under the 'Hell
Interface alias, apparently) of Colonel Abrahams 'Trapped'. and
Midnight Star - the Midas Touch . And the new Beck remix. Anyone know if
that's out?

There have been others since then, i think.
