Has anyone ever done this before? I havent been tto a marrage since i was like 9. I dont really remember it. What do you have to do? I am guessing just standing there. This is going to be fuckin nuts though. Yesterday i just found out about the marrage and my buddy asked me to stand up in it. Stay tuned to this thread for informations and pics! :D VP in a tux? :/ |

I was just in one, the best man is responsible for the ring. he takes it from the ringbearer when he brings it down the isle then walks it up to the top part of church and stands there with the remaining groomsman behind him. The groomsman dont do shit, they just follow and line and get free alchohol :) atleast thats what I did at my friends wedding. |

you and the best man have the duty of planning the b party, also you walk with the bridesmaids and get your pictures taken - you may even be asked to give a speech - but its the greatest. also the groom has to buy you all gifts - one more thing you must all get fitted for tuxes. i think that is it, oh yeah, you must shove at least 50 ones down the grooms pants when the stippers attack him. |

my sister's wedding was fun. i got pissed with my dad and we smoked a cigar :) weddings are usually a piss up. the ceremony is just something to get out the way...good luck with the whole standing up thing. |

I'm actually the Maid of Honor which is equivalent to the Best Man. If you ARE the best man then you have to stand next to the Groom and hand him the rings and even say a speech at the Reception. And youre the one who has to plan the bachlor party, its usually the weekend before the wedding. Good luck, I know its a pain in the ass for me and a whole lotta money! |
