I just bought it, and it's very good! While it's nothing
new (still the same old EST sound), their sound has always
been pretty damned close to amazing!

Seven days of falling remains my favorite, though, I think,
but this one is definately worth having if you like their
other ones!

these guys are great! i learned of them through my dad who
saw them live and brought back a cd. really good stuff. the
one track (can't remember the name) resembles pyramid song
from radiohead a bit (the melody).

I will check it out.

But i feel i have to listen to all their stuff to get a good
idea cause i hear they have a wide range of styles , not
just classic jazz.

there is little difference between the cd's in styles, I
think, but I've always had a hard time distinguishing
between styles, so...

I've got all their albums, though, and it's definately worth
having... and if you like them, you could also check Tied
and Tickled Trio, while they have a tad more electronic
stuff, I'd say they have the same "sound."

im listening to this album right now, been listening to it 2
times in a row now, great suff.. i have heard of est before
but never really got into to them for some reason.. but
yeah, now i will get the earlier albums aswell becouse this
was great stuff.

They hide so much beuty in so many small weird places on
this album it's really allot of fun to listen to, maybe fun
is the wrong word but it really is an album that can be
listened to many times as far as i can tell.

Yay!

yeah, they've got lots of "hidden" sounds.. I love the
tendency jazz-piano-players have to sing/scat along with
what they're playing, and if you listen closely you can hear
esbjørn humming along even on those songs where he doesn't
actually sing out loud...

Oh, how I'd love for them to release stuff on vinyl so that
even more details would be revealed!

yeah i noticed quite an bit of humming, im gonna listen to
this CD with proper headphones in a couple of days when im
home (with acces to better sound).. im looking forward to
that.

If you like half nutty "jazz-piano-players" that sings and
makeweirds sound then you should check out "Pierre Swärd"
hes an hammond organ player from sweden, i have seen him
live twice and the guy has an amazing character, Hes allways
humming, screaming and even beatboxing at times, i have two
albums by him shared on soulseek, i recommend you to get
them! it's often sort of happy funky jazz, really
entertaining to listen to.
