i just discovered the huge advantage of using the 'newest
message first' option in threads. i should have thought of
that when i refreshed the 'ae @ xlt radio' thread for seven
hours.

how about you? newest or oldest first?

I never really noticed that. I am going to try it out, but
make no guarantees as to how long I am going to keep it this
way.

Newest first.

Pro's: no need to go to the last post in a thread that's
longer than Metusale's lifespan (like post your picture &
now playing).

Cons: It tends to make me read threads "backwards"

oldest. newest first is like attending a funeral without
having known the person.

Newest first.

There was a massive thread about this before I think where
people argued for both sides. It was funny.
