I received a 19-track promo CD from Warp Records a few weeks ago. The promo was not mastered though so I'm looking forward to the full release available 28th May. Meanwhile, check out the . Very cool indeed. |

At least this album is tops, i'm sorry, but even though not really comparable stylistically, it sure does blow Autechres new album out of the water. I tried listening to Cornfield over and over again yesterday and I seriously think its an absolute waste of time... Plaid is the greatest most enjoyable Warp act after Aphex in my opinion. Autechre is cool but it does get sterile after a while if its just clicks and bleeps monotonously. Hooray for Plaid! |

PMV, Plaid is way more accessable than Autechre today. Don't give up on Confield OK? :-) I reckon the two albums complements each other...at least in my life. I'm sure BoC's upcoming album is a top release as well. FYI: I'll redesign/rebuild my Plaid-site when my timeschedule allows it. Prolly this summer. |

Yeah, I'm considering getting a Plaid album, after likeing what I've heard so far - maybe the new one, or the last one. I can't wait for the next BoC album, MHTRTC and ABPOITC (can't be arsed to type) were ace. Considering buying Confield (why do I keep on thinking 'Cornfed'?) too, dispite the comments I've heard about it. Actually, I don't have lp5, so may get that instead. Chris Ochre. |
