i don't agree either. that xmd5a is quite possibly my fav
aphex tune, and i like all the other songs as well, tho
drukqs still remains my fav album for now.

I think that when you listen to the release as it is
compairing it with only similar things in the series then
you can get a good idea.

I heard 10 and was impressed. There was alot of interesting
sounds going on.

I heard 1&2 and felt like it was worse than 10. I only
listened to it once. I had no more need or want to listen to
it more.

It makes me wonder about the next installments. More subpar
acid? Or perhaps a ground breaking release?

There are a bunch of artists here that i enjoy more than
Analord 1 & 2.

i was disappointed at analord 1 & 2 as well in the begining,
but i really love most of the songs now..it took me a while
to get into it tho. but compared to analord 10 these two are
still weak..

how the hell can you guys compare analord 1 and 2 to
drukqs.

i swear some of you are missing the point.

No, i am only compairing analord to other analord. As in i
would compair "analord3" to #8 if it was out. Because it is
within the same series.

My main disappointment is because i was really impressed
with 10 and when i heard 1 & 2 i was kind of bummed out.

*plays some Bob Seger*

other work. After all we are fans and we all have our hopes
and expectations.

A10 = DRUKQS
A1 = AB
A2 = AB

WHEN THE REST OF THE SERIES CORRESPONDS WITH THE STYLES IN
HIS CAREER THRU THE 90S MAYBE WE WILL SEE.

A10 is a notch or two below drukqs...

The layering, the melodies, the beats everything...

I didn't hear any interesting sounds in Analord 10 at all.

but, its growing on me.

Well this is the rumour but seeing as though Analords 3 + 4
are both by AFX, I doubt they'll be that much stylistically
different to the C21st Analogue Bubblebath-ey acid sound of
1 and 2.

I really hope for some more Aphex Twin Analords and maybe
some different aliases.

analord is stupendous. I don't like anal1 that much but 2 is
great and WHO CAN DENY 10??? not to mention, we haven't even
heard the rest of the series yet. I don't think you can
judge analord until you've heard all 10(+?) releases in it.

though.

listened to flow coma remix and it blows my mind. I like

the binder is just , i dunno a nice touch.

the real treat is inside, oh man.

slow down the pitch and to 33rpm on analord 10 and just like
drukqs, it's a whole new world, all sorts of sounds and shit
you would *never* hear at regular speed.

To be honest I think it's a step forward but I can't see the
hidden 33rpm bit's. I don't think that's the point, it'
supposed to be overwhelming acid.
