i just find it funny that everyone is kinda badmouthing the
music and acting like it isn't "groundbreaking" or nothing
special or the sort.

i've given it a week or so to sit in (still not enuff, gotto
hear this in some deep underground dance setting)

analord 1 is still growing (mostly when i listen to it in
the car)

and 2 was a damn near classic the first time i heard it
<3 tunes and melodies

just wish people would stop comparing music to old vs new,
tired styles vs groundbreaking,

from richard that we mentioned we would be happy simply with
some stuff from his old vaults. Well here you go! I for one
am happy with it.

I was expecting more considering how much penis was shoved
into my ass for Analord 10.

Oh well, gotta catch em all, (and turn around and sell it on
ebay for 10x as much.)

If Analord picks up the pace maybe you'll make your money
back? E-bay is pretty ruthless and honest when it comws to
public demand.

I'm not selling it right away. I'll wait about 10 years.

Whoever wants it the most will have to pay the most.

melody... at least have a look at my newly clean shaven
head... sorry about the bloody pimple on top... eww gross

and no... i am NOT involved with any sort of "skin-head"
bull shit... i just hate the "upkeep" of hair and so i cut
it all off!

No. Analord 1 & 2 came as a disappointment to me. I didnt
enjoy them nearly as much as i enjoyed 10.

too bad.

at least here you can say you don;t enjoy them as much,

where as in other threads you are directly comparing them
which is downright incoherent ... good day.

offline revpersona from Plainfield (United States) on 2005-02-02 23:50 [#01485897]

I'm starting to see where your going in these Analord
threads Elusive. I agree with you in the fact that majority
of the people on this board don't appreciate "dated
sounding" music, because everyone is hopped up on the
Digital Age of producing and don't care about hearing
old-school synths, which is a damn shame. Coming from
someone who LOVES old-school Techno, I can honestly say that
Analord 10....is nothing immaginative at all.

Case in point is the first Track on it. Very
constant....doesn't do much for changing....stale 303
lines....it needs more energy. Today in my car I was
listening to "Accelerator" by FSOL, and just the fact that I
would use Track 9 (Pulse State) as a good example of good
sounding Acid Techno. Not the best track out there, but
great energy, nice varied 303 programming and of course the
obligatory 808 and 909.

I haven't heard the other Analords yet and I plan on
checking them out when I get around to it. Just as of
now....Analord 10 is not very good. I just think it's
another hype ploy by Rephlex to move some more product.

Honestly, I didn't like analord 10 that much. Analord 1 is
v/good & 2 is immaculate. I say, find 2 first. Then search
out 1.

I'm terribly sorry gang, I tought I could keep up with
making incoherent semi-intelligent posts all the time.
You'll have to use your imagination and insert an insulting
post aimed towards elusive here.

Sorry, I've been in and out of rehab lately, where does it
say Analord 1 is over 7 years old, apart from at the top of
this thread?
