Anybody like Ground Zero or Altered States here? I recently bought Altered States Plays Standards for £21(Yowza). I also have Ground Zero's self-titled, they're both amazing. I know there are a few people who like Yoshihide on this mb, if you're into his jazz related music I recommend picking these up given the opportunity. |

i'm pretty sure Fabien, has grabbed some of the Ground Zero stuff recently... everyone keeps telling me how nice it is so i really should get off my ass and grab it... but i dunno... i've never really enjoyed Yoshihide like that... i'm thinking maybe i should work backwards through his Ensemble Cathode stuff to get there maybe... we'll see... |

i second Fabien about Consume Red, i highly recommend it. at the end of the record, you'll feel either: exhausted / completely mad / in a state of trance / like you've just had a musical orgasm of an hour / several or all of the above. |
