I was introduced to his music around 2-3 years ago. I think
he makes wonderful tunes. He had the best breezeblock set i
have ever heard.

He is very creative and has a wealth of talent. I fuck
around about him because he violently attacked pomme.

NO GYPSUM, NO! Squarepusher has released the same fucking
record over and over again since "Feed me weird things". I
like Feed me weird things but I don't want 10 different
versions of it. Is []> going to keep releasing jazzy
drill'n'bass for the next 10 years? FUCKSTICKS.

Hmm I've noticed teh aphex worshipping but I got the
impression there wasnt much anti-pusher feeling. I think I
prefer him over RDJ to be honest.

I fucking love squarepusher

well it isnt very ground breaking or anything , and i can
see why people might not be into his stuff, but for me its
great, sometimes it hard, sometimes its soft, the only time
i skip tracks was the dyksp ambient stuff and the jazz
interludes on ultrav, other than that i really like it - its
ear candy to me.

Hmm I don't know, I think it is pretty groundbreaking at
times. I think Ultravisitor as an album is unlike anything
out there

squarepusher is one of those artists i really like, i
allways have high expectations on Tom and i have never
gotten dissapointed at all.

I dont see how some thinks hes releasing the same album over
and over again, he has his own style and sound but the
albums are quite different, at least in my ears.

But yeah, i like jazz, i like drill and bass and i like that
amazing sound only Tom has on certain songs.
Like ultravisitor, tundra and tundra 4, theme from ernest
borgine, i wish you could talk and so on and on and on, i
think it's special and i think it sounds good.
could be that it's my personal taste or something.

i think its unique, as in sp is a stylist, but i think it
only serves to further itself, meaning his music changes
while staying the same, such as the sounds and tempo, but
the overall structure is the same.

5. music is rotted..

I think he's one of the few people who can completely
accomplish what he sets out to do musically. A master at his
craft definately. Doesn't mean I always like what he does
though.

I like some of his tracks. Stuff like Port Rhombus,
Squarewindow EP, Ultravisitor (title track) and the quiet
jazzy pieces, hard normal daddy... but he makes a lot of
wank too.

Actually Squarewindow is the only release of his where I
like every track on it.

yeah, i've heard that one..it's no surprise he tours alone
so often :)

i've read a few interviews with afx and vibert in tha past
few days, they both seem to think pusher acts a bit weird
sometimes..

my ears.

the novelty wears off. in the end, theres just 1 or 2 good
songs per album. IMHOteps.

sp is incredibly talented, he truly is a major electronic
musician, there are gems here and there all over his
records.
