A possible reason for this is that the Internet Explorer settings are incorrect. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab Scroll down to the Multimedia section and put a tick next to Show Pictures Apply and then Ok Close Internet Explorer then give it another go If not, try clicking on restore defaults on the advanced tab too |

If you right click on the image and click on show picture does that work? To check if you've got a proxy specified click onto tool > I options > Connections > LAN settings |

could be something to do with it Best off speaking to your IT dept in work, they may be able to give you a different proxy to use |

the proxy server is like a computer between the big bad internet and you interwebs <-> proxy <-> you if theres something wrong with the proxy server, there is nothing you can do about it really |
