why is the Ventolin video so weird? What's the deal with
all the chimneys and the airco-cam?

im guessing that they represent ventilation and such. being
stuck in the elevator captures that feeling of
claustrophobia that asthma gives you

Yup, and the air ducts, pipes and chimneys probably work in
there too showing the "breathing" and/or passage way of air.
And the elevator such as hexane suggests. Shes stuck in
there without her Ventolin and starts panicking. It shows
the pipes and such... breathing.. breathe.....

the high pitched noise emitted from the song is to emulate
the ringing you get in your ears when you overdose on
ventolin.

although I think it's a weird clip, I find it somehow
intriguing. Ventolin is not quite my favorite song, but I
just keep on watching that video. I think it's that strange
atmosphere

ventolin is probably my favourite CD by aphex twin, you can
get the one edition with both ventolin singles on one.....
its the best.

yeah, i definately agree with Reflex; Both the Ventolin EP
and Ventolin Remixes are high quality stuff. IMO it's his
best work so far together with Come To Daddy and ICBYD. The
video is also under-rated. i think it catches the "vibe" of
the track pretty well.

i agree with mostly every one, chimneys signifying
breathing, buzzing noise form over dose (or even just to
illisrate the exstream tension an attack causes) and getting
stuck in the elevator shows the terrible rescricting feeling
you get as well..... i am not asthmatic, but when i used to
get really bad panic attacks, i would have asthma-like
symptoms...

amen

Wheeze Mix is my fave, better than the ICBYD version.

RDJ said that the high pitched sound is a feel of what its
like to overdose on the medicine Ventolin.

Yeah pretty much everyone is on the spot with the idea
behind the video, it is pretty obvious.

Ventolin is some of his most creative stuff, its probably
the darkest stuff too. When I used to eat a lot of acid, I
would listen to that album, its so clostraphobic, dark and
scary.
