It might be The River by Jeffrey Lewis & Diane Cluck,
or maybe Darkhalf by Technical Itch, or maybe
Tokyo by The Books. One of them, yeh.

OH man, Rip it Up might be my favorite song ever.

But right now my favorite song ever is Minimal Compact-
Babylonian Tower.

Keep in mind I haven't heard Analord yet. -_- So all of this
is probably moot.

well, it's the same thing with Paulo Conte in my case -
can't see the difference between Joe Cocker, Garou or other
guys like that.
we just have different tastes i guess :)

btw, have You checked This Mortal Coil [or the whole 4AD]
yet ? a lot of good, even great sounds wait for You in that
space. good luck

well, i must say that i find joe cocker incredibly annoying
and i don't know garou but conte is just awesome :)

as for mortal coil - i downloaded all the songs i could find
(not much btw) and they sound beautiful.

Six Organs of Admittance is sort of a free-folk band... it's
really mostly just this one dude named Ben Chasny... he also
plays in Badgerlore and Comets on Fire an' such... for
Octavio Paz is just an album that got reissued last year...
very pleasant wordless vocals sung over top of said
guitars... if you are at all into any of this folk stuff
that has gained some popularity over the last few years,
then Six Organs is definitely worth hearing, and this is one
of his finer albums to date, imo...
