at least it did here (the US). my 256k connection switched
to about 2000k, and apparently I'm not special. How is it
in europe/wherever you are

Well I just got upgraded to 1 meg because my ISP didn't like
me calling up to cancel my contract. They offered me 1 meg
at the current price. Yay!

BAM!

Speed upgrades are awesome!

8 meg . I will change that to 24 meg soon with a simple
phone call and small fee but the monthly bills will remain
at the same price. I have a really good provider that is not
overpriced. So thats good..

Nah it's the fact that I don't download loads at home in
general, I've been a customer with them for over 10 years
and I phoned them up and told them I wanted a 4mb connection
for £25 or I would take my business elsewhere. They just
agreed.

8Mbit down and 1Mbit up. I get about 1100KB/s with Download
Accelerator. I'm paying for what is essentially an "up to"
26Mbit connection. I just live too far away from my
phonestation. I'm only a 1000m from 13/13Mbit :(

some day..
