just get some random battery opperated sound toys and start connecting wires to the circuit board randomly. when you find a connection point that changes the sound you solder the wire in place. maybe even put a switch or a potentiometer between the two points. that stuff is easy.

I know lots of links, and I've designed a few bits myself. i will link in a minute once I've remembered them, lol should really use favourites, but never do!

im too lazy for lazy link:
http://www.analog-synth.de/ http://www.evenfall.com/diy/ http://homepage.ntlworld.com/henry01/henrys_title_page.htm http://www.synthdiy.com/ http://www.cgs.synth.net/ http://www.synthtech.com/ http://www.carrionsound.com/ http://www.paia.com/ http://www.epanorama.net/index.php
That will keep you busy for a while.
I've designed a lovely ringmod with some unique features, which totally kicks bum, and also a multimode distortion unit.
I've also got some never completed (or started) designs for things. All designs are on paper and if I can find them I will scan/put them online for people.

Has anyone built the Paia Fatman? Is it worth the time and trouble? I know it doesn't have too many parameters unless you do some mods...

I know you can get Fatman mods on the internet...
I've planned to create a VCS3-like modular...
