Devilfish Emulator?

Anyone know of any softsynth good at emulating the
devilfish?

Ideally something includng the 303 sequencer, like
Audiorealism Bassline and runnable as a VST.

I don't mean something that can make devilfish type sounds,
amongst others, with careful programming, but something that
can only make devilfish style sounds...

that is kind of weird to only whant devil-fish type
sounds...

plus there is weird parameters added on a devilfish that i'm
not sure you'd find on asoftsynth...

taken from the site :

# Audio In to frequency modulate the filter.
# Overdrive pot to control the level of oscillator going to
the filter: zero to 66.6 times normal level.
# Separate control of Main Envelope Generator times in
accented and non-accented notes.
# Internal Filter FM: a unique approach of AC coupled Filter
FM from the audio output of the VCA.

just a few of the weird things a devilfish can do that i
don't remember seeing on softsynths

Yes, it was for distinct things like this I wanted one :)

I only want devilfish sounds from the device because I want
to make patches that sound like the devilfish, without
having to spend ages making the patch like a
devilfish.

Eg I can get good 101 type sounds from the muon tau pro, but
as it makes sounds other than 101 ones, it takes a bit
longer to make that sort of patch, if you see what I mean?

I have Blockfish, and a couple of other FISH, one of which
may be DEVILFISH.

Devilfish is the name of (hardware) third party add-on/mod
for the famous roland TR-303. It's good for abrasive
metallic sounds, yet retaining that acidy squelch. I'm
looking for a plugin that does this. Ta.

i know, ive read about them. But the link above contains
more links to sites containing half-par/decent vst plugins
for 303 like sounds with a little more pizazz...such as your
Devilfish mod

I can tell you how to get hellfish, but devilfish: no.
Sounds great though..is this as old as the TR-303?

-crazone:

It's slightly more modern, but still an old (discontinued)
mod.
