I mean, peoples like me spend too much time online that
sometimes forget how important is to have a social life out
of the web.
w M w knows that...

*sighs*

When you spend too much time with video
games, internet, locked in your room masturbating looking at
porn,online relationships...

nerds are sad peoples.

ps: again,sorry my broken english.

my life is basically as follows:

wake up

go to class

smoke weed

play/write music

play video games

go to bed

repeat.

more or less, the answer is "yay".
But I wish it was a bit more dynamic than it is. Sometimes
interesting things still happen in my real life, but not
often enough.

life is just what you live. everyone ends up the same way.

'real life' just depresses me, to be honest. i'd rather play
video games than deal with people.

My Life is basically:

Get up.

Read.

Do some tracks.

Go to work.

Do some tracks.

Come here (XLT).

Work.

Go home for lunch and do music (usually practice
scratching), read or play multiplayer Halo 2 over xbox
linkup at work.

Do some tracks/learn some new software.

Ring/email some mates and make plans for the
weekend/evening.

Work.

Go home.

Go for a motorbike ride/sailing, weather/season permitting.

Have dinner.

Do tracks.

Go to sleep.

I think it was John Lennon who said: “Life is what happens
when you’re making other plans.”, and that’s how I
feel. Although he also said: “I am the Walrus I am the
eggman” so I don’t know what to believe.

" i'd rather playvideo games than deal with people. "

Agreed and double agreed.

I'm a major dork with no cool cred, but that's cool, I don't
have a noticeable void in my life or soul. Life is great,
generally. Even if most would say, erroneously, that I don't
have one.

I have a general feeling that I should stop isolating
myself... and sometimes I do... but to be honest I really
love getting lost in a dvd or music making so its a bit of a
paradox

I was discussing with my gilfriend last night, that I far
prefer watching a film that relies on suspense, tension or
very close following of the plot (thrillers/horror/political
as opposed to action films) alone, at home on DVD, rather
than at a theatre. A couple of things I've really looked
forwards to a film, I've waited for the DVD release.

The few benefits of a cinema:

Bigger screen,
Better soundsystem.

Are minimal for some sorts of films, and is outweighed by:

The cost; once you add up buying food/drink/petrol to get
there/parking/entry fee etc. It's not that much more
expensive to buy the film, particularly if you're going to
watch it with 2 or more people (I never go to the cinema
alone).

The inconveniance: Getting there, checking the time it's on,
booking places/finding it has sold out.

The lack of atmosphere: I've never been scared
watching a horror film in a cinema. At home, alone, with the
lights off, they can be far more unsettling.

Other people: Them being there stops you from talking when
you want, they talk when you don't want to. Phones go off,
rustling of popcorn etc.

life is usually good, but recently i have fucked up
somewhere, gone into a massive fit of depression and ended
up like this:

"spend too much time with video
games, internet, locked in your room masturbating looking at
porn,online relationships"

it aint good.

"i'd rather playvideo games than deal with people."
> depends which people, and for what...

i get along well with people now, but i have no social
life.
i don't blame the internet for it as it has always been like
this, even before i had internet or a computer or
anything... i'm very shy. and very lazy too. i have some
monoidian aspects as well (not the misogynism nor the drug
addiction thanksfully). etc. not really a winning
combination.

i love spending an evening with friends, i love the first
and only time so far i went to a concert, etc. - but it just
happens far too rarely. i think the last time i had
something like that was in november... (can't say i really
had the time for this because of university, but i can't say
i would really have the time for being on messageboards as
much as i am now either)
