can't put in words how absolutely beautiful this album
is!!!
that remake of nick drake's "black eyed dog" must be one of
the most wonderful songs i have ever heard :)
it's such a varied album it makes my head spin. this is
surely the best example of imaginative and interesting music
that sound awesome at the same time :D
i don't think i was ever so impressed after the first
listen..

a review

it's a 2005 release. i must be honest and say i enjoy it
more to analord, although it's a totally different thing :)

swag cave sounds like it's an awesome track... i probably
need to hear the full versions of the other songs.

ps - ever hear the swans' version of black-eyed dog?

that's pretty much there is to that swag cave song. but
those samples really doesn't give you the proper
idea...those samples almost make it sound like a pop record
or something, there are popish elements but there's just way
more to it imo.

i don't think i've heard swans version, i'll look it up
though, thanks.

the Staalplaat label.

ohh, this is some pretty musac...so mellow. kinda like
portishead mood but a bit more 'experimental' i'd say. and
not all songs are with vocals..lovely all together though.

Look forward to hearing this black eyed dog cover, such a
haunting track, i'm curious.

it's very subtle, there's only a barely hearable high
pitched tone with beautiful vocals (which kind of remind me
to sinnead o'connor), some more sounds come in by the end of
the track, but also very subtle. i'll send it your way when
im home and see you online. (or maybe if you're not online i
can send it via email if you've got enough space).

you ? Good service ?

soulseek. perfect service i must say. i'll get the original
on ab-cd.com though, they're by far the best site for
interesting kind of music and the prices are real low. the
only trouble is they're in the states so i have to pay the
import tax.

it's quite different to their earlier stuff though, not so
much electronic this time, but it's incredibly beautiful to
my ears :)

Yeah im not so fond of their earlier stuff wich i downloaded
on the ol SS , they have been around for quite some time.
I just hapened to stumble upon some samples from this album
and fell in love instantly . I havent even heard any whole
tracks yet but i am determined to get hold of the album.
Very unusual behaviour for me =)

ab-cd.com Thanks!
