just gave this a listen, which i haven't put on in a while.
i think it sounds more like squarepusher compared to these
analord tracks. still a classy tune, but a serious contrast
to what he's come back to.

It's not that much of a contrast...it's still obviously an
Aphex track. (btw i like mangle 11 now that I understand it
fully)

drukqs outtake

It would have been out of place on drukqs.

i would be pleased if analord sounded like this track...

Why was it going to be track 3 or something?

What is there to understand about this track?

Obviously you don't really get it. But as you are an
American I suppose it is understandable you wouldn't
understand it as well as someone from Britain or any other
country.

this sounds like the end of what he worked towards, the
wrong direction perhaps? maybe he got away from what he was
intending, and now came back to where he started with the
knowledge of what he did with drukqs. OVERANALYSIS nevermind
what i'm saying. it's a great track.

Not at all...although you too will struggle with
understanding electronic music as well as we do, purely
because you are born with genetics to listen to 80's rock
music. I'm not saying you're incapable of enjoying
electronic music, you will just never get as much from it as
the British, and to a lesser extent Europeans, do.

ecnadniarb: what authority are you? i'm just here to discuss
music. i'm not putting myself on any kind of pedestal or
otherwise. i just don't appreciate it when people make
comments that sugguest that someone else is inferior based
on lack of whatever. i was only commenting on this track,
perhaps i should not have gotten involved in whatever
conflict you have with bogala. please excuse my
interruption.

the UK which means you have probably been infected. :(

To be second generation British it means you would have had
to have been born in Britain to British parents whose
parents (your grandparents) where not originally British
nationals, not the other way around.

You do understand that don't you?

Aphex speaks to my heart more than any other artist. He's
been number 1 for me going on 11 years now. There are only a
handful of people that make good music anyway. I don't know
why you are getting nationalistic about your music tastes. I
was just wondering what he was hearing in mangle and maybe I
hear it, too. I'm not confused by it. I love it. I don't
care what you think of me or America, keep going, actually.
It's funny.

You only find it funny because you don't understand. If you
understood, then this, like the music, would offer you a
level of clarity you can only dream about.

Also, according to your juvenile logic, what about the
British people that don't like aphex? Or British people that
are from Cornwall, born in 1971, that don't like aphex?
They understand it with a level of clarity I can only dream
about, but still don't like it? And if the British, or
Europeans for that matter, understand aphex with a level of
clarity I can only dream about, why aren't there 2 aphex
twins? You are a fucking idiot. Your mother must have had
dangerously high levels of Liverpool soot in her breast
milk. I return to not caring.

I have yet to meet a British person who dislikes Aphex.
They either love him or don't know of him. Obviously there
are stupid people in Britain too, just a heap less than the
entire US population.

I would also like to point out that Liverpool is a port
city, with shipping as its traditional industry. Not every
city was heavily factory based, but I guess in your
ignorance you are attempting to make a play on the old
London smog issue.

I see, so it's kinda like how black people don't understand
lynard skynard. I never met any, atleast. What about that
one nigger in the crowd jammin his bubble butt off to free
bird? It could happen.. I don't know about you, but I wanna
hear that mother fucker's music. (I've truly entered the
realm of not caring, about anything, actually)

Do you beleive that repeating the same thing (not caring)
while consistantly showing you are irked will somehow
convince reader of your not caring?

I guess you are also a republican...repeat one message while
doing something else in the hope your retoric will outweigh
your actions.
