FUCK nevermind then, it didn't have an effect. They
included a suggestion I made to cause pages here to transfer
faster.. this was about 2 weeks ago? damn =( you would have
noticed if it was big.

heh, 2 years back i lived in a house with the most awful
phone lines ever; the surburb was known as having crappy
lines (wish i knew that before i moved there - the 12 month
lease *sucked*).

could /never/ connect any higher than 9600 bps; dropouts
were pretty constant. jesus i'm happy i don't live there
anymore - given i'm a geek, but for a good period of those
12 months i didn't even use my computer much, wasn't even
plugged in.
