miss the slam-dunk contest, I missed it last year, but I

Steve Nash is amazing, even if he looks like a geek. He's
gone from a bench warmer to an All-star, nice job.

when I said:
"but maybe he changes...he seems to be good

I was talking about him, not the team

oh.. hmm.. well there are many good players on bad teams and
many bad players that average 0 MPG on good teams

the lower a team is ranked at the end of the season, the
higher they are in the following year's draft.. if one team
is in absolute last place, they pretty much have their
choice of any draft candidate.. that team is given the first
pick of the draft.. memphis had a pretty early pick in the
draft during gasol's rookie year, so they were able to get
him.. and so a good player was drafted onto a bad team, in
hopes that he would lead the team into a far more prosperous
future
