nah,i don't envy him...i do respect what he did for the community,but i don't like the fact that he's so obvious about his intentions. like he doesn't really care about anyone... umm,that girl interviews him and in one point he said that the most important thing is that he got payed. |

he may not be the world's niceset person, i can't judge on that since i never met him, but his music speaks for itself.. and maybe if he was all about the money he'd put out more stuff and not an album in every 4 years or so, coz apperantly he's got quite a big fanbase which by the looks of it is ready to buy just about anything he releases - without even hearing it first. as for analord - if the shipment costs are really included and that binder isn't just a plastic thingy the price for it might not be all that high...not ot mention they would probably sell three times more if they decided to release it on a cd (which they apperantly won't do for some reason).. but then again i like him so much i might not see all the facts clearly :-) |

there is a chance for you to head over to slsk and ask tolst to dl the interview. btw,tolstoyed....i'm sure ur aware that richard does other music production,not just idm! i remember he mentioned in one interview how he produces pop and such stuff! imagine him producing radiohead...ahahha. |

yes i've heard him say this before, but im not sure whether that was a joke or not. what i think is that he has probably made some pop dance tunes in the beginings of pop dance music (well in the early 90's) that made it to the charts, although this might have just as well been one of his jokes. i would be really disappointed if i would have found out that he is producing radiohead :( flyagaric, if you want to download the thing im in the aphex.nu room, if not i'll write some excerpts when i see it next time...i only watched it once when i got it so i'll watch it again one of this days :) |

Artist in our country is some poor weirdo. In Poland aphex twin would be just a underground DJ. Thank God, RDJ was born in England.
