i think those who missed this shitty release, will die of pain that they havent got another smelly package from sir richard teh cheesy twin. ah, next analords prices are, in order, 50, 60, 70 , 80, 90, plus the last part, with richards voice saying 'ehmmmm" will cost 340, cos its pressed on super quality 23939g tape. |

allright : 1) strongly overrated , and before releasing, thats two in one 2) shows that some ppl cant think of anything better that taliking about new afx releases, that making them pathetic 3) paying 40 quids for two tracks exceeded even my worse dreams about new way of artists waiting to collect your money for shitty music. its actually most expensive EP ( if its an EP anyway ) ive seen, and i dont think that its "nobody pushes you to buy it" thingy - its a new trend, cos rephlex bitches knew that ultrafans will buy it anyway, and they actually bought it, so, expect more releases like this. and in 2010 you will pay 100quids for one track, plus additional 10 for every time you will listen to it 4) i think that afx times are over, time to move on, plenty new ones, better, but some cant see anything besides AFX logo plus more, but thats enough, i can see myself flamed for "not liking AFX". |

at least the other discs are 9 bucks on both ear rational and sister ray. i'm just waiting to see other stores post the info...really looking forward to seeing if there is cover art or whathave you. being rephlex its probably a simple sleeve and maybe a fancy centre label...we'll see. |

analord 10 has a nice center label. I could only imagine that 1-9 will have a similar design. I doubt there will be cover art. The single records will probably come in a simple paper sleeve, they are meant to be placed in the binder. |

aphex twin is overrated 10 vinyls=76 quid~100 euro. assuming 2 or 3 tracks per vinyl thats a double album for 100 €. |

i see your point hyakusen. I agree with you on several points. I randomly picked up an aphex twin album from the record store and since that day i've been a fan of electronic music since...and i was a fan of his for quite sometime. But putting out a record every once in a while with a few tracks kinda left me hungary for more stuff. so i checked out other artists. I bought analord with my christmas bonus from work, so really if it sucks i won't feel bad since it technically wasn't a loss for me money wise it will just be a waste of space on my record shelf. The future of me buying anything from rephlex aphex related, depends on this release. I have a feeling its going to be good, but then again we could get 2 good tracks, then 9 discs of noise related crap... yes the price was heafty, and i doubt i'll pay 100 bucks for a 2 track single in that case i'll download it and check it out....and of course this is going to be hyped beyond belief since its been awhile since any afx news or releases have popped up. get use to it. after analord, there will probably be a 1-2-3 year lull and then this process will start over again. release more ovuca & bogdan!! |

1) it is coz 67% of opinions are "this iwll be great" - why dont you ask these ppl how they can know the fact ? 2) i dont think aphex sells his records just for good fun 3) if 76 quids for some vinyls that actually complete one album ( eve less, coz an LP comes often with almost 20 tracks) is a goo d prize to you - i congratulate you your social situation. 4) aphex was glorious brand 5 years ago, now its just a common known artist. |

well, probably i wouldnt be "againts" if the price was really on the level of the record. certainly it wont be the revolution in music, and even if it would be, i just think that 40 pounds for two tracks is just a crime. and really, its sad that people let these ides come through, if people would say "no way, this is too much', maybe labels would lower down the prices. i really await the day whenm soeme label will release one track for even more that 40 pounds. thast the border for me, and i will be left with soulseek, and flamed for stealing the music. unfair circle. |
