Tsunami; Fake!!!

offline Taxidermist from Black Grass on 2005-01-12 02:20 [#01454340]
Points: 9958 Status: Lurker

I kinda think that the tsunami was faked by the CIA to draw
attention off of the iraq mess, and improve foreign
policy...

Those americans seem to think that the rest of the world is
as gullible as the american population!!!

David copperfield can pull off an illusion like that with
only mirrors. But that's not necessary given that nobody
actually travels to the place it occured... hell I
don't even know it's name(s). I don't care if it's true or
not, just if it's an entertaining story to read.

like people would be stupid to not know the answer. fucking

well if you want to know the truth you could steer a bunch
of tons of orbital junk into a rather brutal perpendicular
trajectory into the ocean. At least that's the easiest way
I can think of (without inducing fallout.. it's not like
those nukes are needed).

To play a bit of devil's advocate, i suppose you can't prove
one way or the other whether anything is happening or not if
you're not directly experiencing it. But you'd drive
yourself mad trying to apply that to everyday life.

Although i still think you are a nutjob.

I don't think it even happened... and worse off, all the
worlds aid is being steered into unmarked bank accounts of
george w's friends, so that when he finishes being president
he can dye his skin black and start a 419 scam because of
all this aid money that hey needs 25000$ to get at.

All the deaths could be fake statistics... do you know
anybody that died, or has visited since? Its all fox news
and CNN isn't it...

THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

Like i say though, once you get into the school of thought

- Prove it happened!

...you start to come off as a paranoid insane-o who will
believe anything that comes into his head. Hence this
thread.

Why didnt they raise money for the floods in Heidi that
happened a while ago? Or how about the south african
refuges?

Oh yeah, thats not where all the rich people go on vacation
...

My rule of thumb, if it's on T.V. it's twisted truth covered
in a layer of bullshit frosted icing.

I'd hope that all the money raised actually gets to the
right people with the right intentions. Fuck it would suck
if my friends and family were in a flood, or if my home was
washed away. I can't even begin to imagine how much this
sucks for some people.

actually i tried to calculate that (and failed)..

i did do something with a 10^10 kg meteor striking earth at
the equator, speed 10^4 m/s... suppose it hits the earth and
remains stuck in the crust (the explosion would have been
deafing!), the change in rotational speed can be neglected
(a day will last a factor 1+5*10^-10 longer). also see
picture. also the calculation probably sucks but this sounds
like something elusive's cat came up with.

oh the angle between the line of impact and the center of
mass is 45 degrees
