is it a repress?

Sometimes they send rare stuff with larger warpmart
orders... but usually its a novelty repress or a cd that
they are planning on shipping out (with a couple extra
songs)

Your still lucky. Its usually just stickers, or cd's
everyone has 200 copies of. Well, not always, but often. Who
the hell needs three jimmy tenor cd's? What the hell would
they do with them?

well, i didn't get it from warp. so i don't think it's a
repress. i ordered it from an online distro what i find
very weird in itself that they would have such an item for
sale.

it wasn't that expensive so i just figured i'd go for it.

That would be the promo of the regular CD. I have no idea
how many copies of promos Warp typically press, or how many
of that one was pressed, but probably not huge quantities.
Their list of people who get 'em is probably large enough to
fill a minimum print run though. So I'd guess around 200 -
500 (and it's reallya pretty vague guess at that).

Part of gauging the "rarity" of CD though usually means how
sought after it is, as well as it's print run quantity, and
since the promo is exactly the same as the release version
except for the disc face print, it's not really worth much.
